Inclusive Family Theater Experience
Enjoy a performance where families with children who need sensory accommodations can share the experience of seeing family-friendly theater.
These performances feature a welcoming environment with House lights remaining on at a reduced level, House rules are modified to allow patrons to move or talk during the performance, and a pre-show demonstration will be held at the top of the show that includes: seeing the actors in their costumes, and a preview of any necessary light or sound cues in the performance.

Accommodations Include:
- Reduction of loud or jarring sounds
- Reduction of flashing or strobe lights
- House lights remain on at a reduced level during the performance
- Accommodated house rules: audience members are free to talk or move during the performance.
- A pre-show demonstration featuring the actors in costume and a preview of any necessary light of sound cues in the performance.
- Patrons are welcome to use personal sensory items such as noise-cancelling headphones or fidgets in the theater during the performance. Sensory bags with fidget tools, noise cancelling headphones and other resources are available for checkout from the House Manager.
- Social Narratives that outline the experience at the theater available (show-specific social narratives created closer to the performance date).
- TV monitors available in the Todd Wehr Theater lobby from which to view the performance, should an audience member need to leave the theater during the performance.
- Money back guarantee: If you realize before the performance that a trip to the theater will not be ideal for your family on that day, we will offer a ticket exchange to another performance of your choice or a refund of your ticket purchase.
