At First Stage, we believe in the transformative power of theater to enlighten, educate, and entertain. We're dedicated to making our performances, in-school education, and theater training programs accessible and welcoming for everyone in our community. We understand that families, schools, and community groups face various challenges, and we're here to ensure that these obstacles don't keep anyone from experiencing the magic of live theater.
In response to this and with the help of our community, First Stage created the Community Partnership Program in 2004 to remove barriers and ensure that all youth and families have access to our transformational theater experiences.
In 2024, First Stage celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Community Partnership Program by reinvigorating its impact and relaunching it as Access for All.
Starting in the 2024-25 Season, qualifying families and individuals can enjoy $10 tickets and up to 85% scholarships for our Theater Academy. It's about making sure financial constraints don't prevent anyone from the joy of theater.
For each production, we offer performances where you decide the ticket price, with a suggested minimum ticket price of $10. It's our way of opening the doors to everyone, regardless of financial situation.
First Stage is not just about performances; it's about building a vibrant, engaged community. We're reaching out to community organizations to facilitate group attendances and foster collective experiences that resonate with and inspire our young audience. Eligible community organization partners may select performances and coordinate families to attend shows together, as a group. Group ticket orders require 10 or more people and are $10 per ticket.
